The Enterprise Lions club
is the proud sponsor of the annual "Boll Weevil 100" Bike Ride and
5K Fun Run through the hills of beautiful CoffeeCounty
. This is the start of the bike riding season. The "Boll Weevil
100" is broken into four rides; a 7.5 mile Fun Ride, a 25-mile, a Century (100K), and a
challenging 100-mile ride. The Fun Run is a 5K course to walk or
run. All profit will be used for charitable work in
Alabama
.
All 25 mi, 100K, and 100 mi bike participants will receive medals after completing the
ride. All participants (including 5K Fun Run and Fun Ride) get a commemorative
T-Shirt.
Come join the best bike ride! All riders are encouraged to be present
for registration on Friday, May 11th (4:00-8:00 p.m.)
at St.
Luke United Methodist Church: book a room at one of our wonderful hotels, drive the bike
route, and share our peaceful countryside before the ride starts on Saturday, May 12th. Registration continues Saturday
morning (6:00-7:00 a.m.).There will
be a complimentary continental breakfast available during registration on
Saturday (6:00-7:00 a.m.). Start time
for all bicycle events will be 7:00 a.m. The Fun Run starts
immediately after the Bicycles depart.
