What's New

With the completion of the Wounded Warrior Retreat cabin, the next phase is to construct a handicap accessible boat dock at East Beach of Lake Tholocco, Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Thanks to all the support of the Enterprise and Fort Rucker communities, the fully ADA-compliant cabin at Lake Tholocco is complete.

The Wounded Warrior Retreat by the Lake was officially opened for overnight stays following a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018. The cabin is available for use by injured and ill veterans and their families on East Beach at Lake Tholocco, Fort Rucker, Alabama.

The Wiregrass Wounded Veterans Committee (WWVC) could use your help to continue to maintain this for present and future generations of heroes to enjoy the great outdoor living.

Thank you for your generous support!

You can also donate to the maintenance of this cabin at GoFundMe

From the President

2017-2018 President Ron JonesFellow Lions:

First, I would like to thank Lion Doug Allgood for the outstanding job he has done as President of our club for the past year.  Lion Doug worked hard to insure the  success of all our service projects. His tireless work to improve this club was instrumental to the success we had this past year. Thanks again for a job well done.

As we look forward to our new year, it is very important that we continue to work to make our community better through our service projects.

As your President for the coming year, I challenge each member to attend meetings on a regular basis, support our projects and together we can make a difference in our community.

We must always remember our  motto is "We Serve."

Sincerely,

Lion Ron Jones
