Boll Weevil 100 Information


The Enterprise Lion's Club sponsors the 15th annual "Boll Weevil 100" Bicycle Ride and 10K Run through the streets of Enterprise and the hills of beautiful Coffee County on Saturday, May 6th, 2017.

The "Boll Weevil 100" consists of four rides; a 7-mile Fun Ride, a 25-mile ride, a Century (100K) ride, and a challenging 100-mile. Start time for bicycle events is 7:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church 217 South Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.

The running events include a 10K run and a 3K fun walk or run that will start at 8:00 a.m. or shortly after the bikers depart.

In cooperation with Veteran's Warrior Transition Units in the Southeast, the Boll Weevil 100 hosts wounded veteran bikers and runners. To register or get further information on the Boll Weevil 100, or to sponsor a wounded veteran participant, Visit the Boll Weevil 100 pages or the link above.


The Enterprise Lions Club Run event is called:

Run For Sight

There will be Eye Screening available at the Boll Weevil 100 conducted by a specialist from Alabama Lions Sight.

Friday from 5pm to 8pm, and Saturday from 8am to noon. The screeners will then go to the

Children in the Park festival and be available from 1pm to 4pm

This is open to anyone who wants the free, no obligation screening.

Those who qualify will be referred to our local Eye Doctor for an Eye Exam.

If needed a pair of prescription glasses will be provided, without obligation, for FREE.
