Special Operations Bionic Warriors

On 24 February 2020 Special Operations Bionic Warriors issued a check for a substantial amount to support the construction of a floating dock at The Wounded Warrior Retreat by the Lake.

It is with our sincere appreciation to these warriors who have given so

much, that we share their story here with you.

Special Operations Bionic Warriors, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 to enhance the quality of life, through sport, for U.S. Speical Operations service members and veterans who are adversely affected by wounds, injuries or illness.

The mission of SOBW, Inc. has been to ensure wounded, injured or ill U.S. Special Operations athletes receive state of the art adaptive sports equipment, world class coaching and access to cutting edge adaptive sports science that would ensure achievement of their athletic goals.

The organization was founded by seven individuals and headquartered in Tennessee, its board members reside in Florida, Virginia, New York and Colorado, and represent a proud service to our nation and its military.

From its founding until 2020 SOBW assisted a growing population of 226 athletes. These athletes participated in recreational sports, adventure sports as well as local, regional, national, and Paralympics-level competitive events.
